Watch Them Fall: Not Alone

It's day 2 of 28! Today we have a post from my close friend about fear and how to deal with it. You know, something I thought was pretty cool was that a lot of the guest writers' themes were similar to what I was preparing for my 7-day series - but not in a bad way, but in a way that built on each other! Talk about God getting a message across to us! In this post, she hits up on some really good verse that I would encourage you all to memorize! Fear is something we all deal with, but I hope this will shine some light on more ways to conquer it! Love you all, and don't forget to share what you think!

                                                                         ...
I was full of fear. Fear of the unknown fear of the future fear of hurt. My mind swarmed with images and thoughts that scared me. I tried to get those thoughts out of my mind but they seemed to keep popping back up.

I prayed to God asking for help. I wondered if I would always stay this way so scared of every little thing, letting my imagination run wild. I felt alone and frightened, but even in the midst of all that evil God was there.

When I feel all alone I know I am not, for He is always there. In Deuteronomy 31:6, God tells us, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."  God Himself says He will never leave us! He squashes all my fears, helps me focus on Him and trust in Him. He has it all under control, we have no need to fear, we have no need to feel alone. Hebrews 13:6 says, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid." I probably will continue to struggle with all this fear, but I can take heart for God is right there to help me through it I am not alone.😃

Even in your times of trouble, times when fear takes hold of you remember God is there for you. Psalms 55:16 says, " I call to God, and the LORD saves me. " He will help you so do not fear- you are not alone.
