Hello my dear brothers and sisters! I am so so sorry for not posting for a long time 😭 One of my rules that I try to follow is that I don't teach anything I don't understand or haven't gone through myself, and as I was (and am) going through a tough time, I wanted to wait for a period of time and focus on growing my relationship with God. Now, I'm not saying that I've mastered all the things I've shared in the past posts. I am NOT perfect and am no where CLOSE to perfect! Let's think of it this way. Think of an archer. Should he teach others how to do archery if he can't even hit the board himself? But if he's learned some tricks and methods along the way and knows how to actually hit the board often, then it'd make more sense for him to give tips to others, right? The archer himself does not necessarily hit the bull's eye every single time, but that doesn't mean he can't help someone else. Now, don't get me wrong, people can still learn from the archer who can't hit the board (or the bull's eye)! But it's easier to learn - and teach - when you've done it or gone through it yourself. That's what I strive to do here. Today I'm going to share with you all something I posted on my YouVersion (which is a great app, by the way, though I prefer to use my paper Bible) account two months ago: Recently I’ve been going through some tough times and trials. There’s been pain, confusion, and some anger. There’s been accusations and assumptions and friendships hanging on the edge of cliffs. There’s been countless tears shed and countless prayers prayed. But through it all, I’ve been trying to remember that what other people say about me does not matter. What other people do to me does not matter. What my circumstances are- no, they don’t matter. Because nothing- I repeat, NOTHING can stop God from loving me. His steadfast love endures FOREVER. And since God still loves me, what’s there to complain about? What’s there to worry about? What am I lacking? Who cares if everyone thinks that I’m a weirdo and the awkwardest person in social history? Who cares if they think I’m different? It only matters that GOD - the creator of the UNIVERSE and you and me - still loves me and is still good!
Psalms 136 tells us that “His steadfast love endures forever” twenty six times! That’s one time for every single verse of the chapter! It must’ve been pretty important to end every verse with that phrase. We are to give thanks in every circumstance- and why? Because His steadfast love endures FOREVER!! God will never stop loving me and He will NEVER stop loving you! And I will praise Him in the storm. If everything is taken away, if I become homeless, friendless, and a wanderer today, I will still praise Him. Because I know that my God is good even when everything else is going wrong and I know that His love will NEVER CEASE and will NEVER GO AWAY. There are so many things I can still be thankful for and I will choose to dwell on those. GOD says that YOU are chosen. Ephesians 1:4-5, Romans 8:29 (More verses here) GOD says that YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14 GOD says that YOU are worthy. Matthew 6:25-34 GOD says that YOU are His. Galatians 3:26, 2 Corinthians 6:18, John 1:12 GOD says that YOU are perfect in His eyes because of what Jesus has done for you if you have accepted His free gift. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, Ephesians 4:24 GOD says that YOU are forgiven. Psalm 103:12, Matthew 26:28, Colossians 3:13, 1 John 1:9 GOD says that YOU are redeemed. Ephesians 1:7, Galatians 3:13, Hebrews 9:15 GOD says that YOU are gifted. 1 Peter 4:10-11, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 GOD says that YOU are not alone. Psalm 27:10, Psalm 68:5-6, GOD says that YOU are wanted. 1 Peter 5:7, Revelation 3:20 GOD says that YOU are L O V E D. But that’s not all... GOD will NEVER leave YOU. Deuteronomy 31:6 GOD is STILL GOOD through it ALL. James 1:17, Psalm 145:9, Psalm 86:5 GOD is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMORROW. Hebrews 13:8 GOD has sent the HOLY SPIRIT to live in those that BELIEVE in Him. John 14:16-17, John 7:39 GOD has already FORGIVEN you. Ephesians 1:9-14, Romans 8:1 GOD has MORE GRACE for you. James 4:6 GOD will TEACH you something through this trial. 1 Peter 5:10, James 1:2-3 GOD will NEVER STOP loving you. Romans 8:39 GOD loves you WITH ALL OF HIS HEART. Psalms 103:11 GOD is willing to LEAVE the 99 sheep to find you and bring you home. Matthew 18:12–14, Luke 15:3–7 GOD is willing to send His own SON to die on a CROSS for you. 1 John 4:9, Romans 5:8 GOD is love. And who do we trust in? The GOD OF GODS. THE LORD OF LORDS. THE KING OF KINGS. The One who does mighty wonders and has created every single person in this world. The One who has orchestrated every friendship, every family, every event, every moment of life. The One who has set every king, queen, emperor, president and person in authority and the One who removes them from their power. The One who is always in control, even when it doesn’t seem like it. The One who has a perfect plan for you. The One who is always with you. The One who caused you to read this at this exact second because He knows what you’re going through. The One who is leading me in what to write right now. The One who loves you no matter what and will never stop loving you. GOD IS GOOD 👍🏼 GOD’S ❤️ ENDURES FOREVER GOD IS WITH YOU 👆🏼 So today let’s dwell on the fact that God still loves you no matter what! Whatever trial you may be going through, whatever pain, whatever sickness — never forget that God will never leave you or forsake you. You have NOTHING to fear. Praise God for that!! Hallelujah! I encourage you to take time now and thank Him. Thank Him for everything He has given you. Thank Him for who He is. Thank Him for who He says you are. Thank Him for His never ending love. Thank Him for EVERYTHING. And remember: His love endures F O R E V E R. I love and am praying for you all. But never forget — God loves you MORE. Emma 💕 WithAllOfMyHeart.weebly.com Image source
