w e l c o m e !

Whatever you may be going through, I want you to know that you are not alone.

Know that God is with you. He feels your pain, He knows your pain, and He's right there with ya. He does have a good plan for you - even though it may not feel like it right now - and He loves you. He loved you so much that He sent His only Son to die on a cross for you to take your punishment so that you can be saved through faith. His love pursues you even to the deepest, darkest corners of the world. No matter what you may do, He will still love you. He will always love you.

Yet He also loves you enough to call you out into a life that is fully pleasing to Him. He's inviting you to surrender everything to Him - and in return, to receive life to the fullest.

I pray that through this blog, you would see the heart of God more clearly. I pray that you would walk away not praising me, but God. For He alone deserves the glory...I'm just a vessel of clay. I am so so thankful for everything He has done for me, and I want to give something back. So with all of my heart, I pray that you are strengthened, encouraged, challenged, and loved on through the words that you read. I'm praying for you!

      Get to know Emma >
Welcome aboard! ;) I don't know where you're at in your faith, but I'm so grateful for the opportunity to pour into your life for a tiny part of your day and share some things God has taught me so far in my walk with Him :)

My prayer for this blog is that God would use me in a way that brings glory to Him alone. Even though this is a place where I share personal stories and struggles and victories that I've gone through, this is ultimately not about me! I want to bring God glory by encouraging and reminding you that you're not alone and by challenging and helping you see that there's more to life than just living. I want to lift Him high by sharing testimonies of His goodness! May He speak to you in ways I can't and bring you closer to Him. May you be encouraged in your faith, even if it's just the teensiest eensiest bit ;))

BEHIND THE NAME
Picture
The idea for the blog's name came when I was reading Psalms - about how God's love is so steadfast and so reliable and so passionate for us. No matter what we do, say, or think, He'll always love us, and nothing can stop that. I knew that the culture of this world cries out "Love me, love me" over and over, especially because our natural self craves attention and love and acceptance. But we should instead be saying, "No, still you love me - still God loves me." That is because we know that despite what the world may think of us, God still loves us to infinity. His love is not dependent on us. We cannot earn it; therefore we cannot lose it.

BEHIND THE BLOG
Back in 2017 when I started, I was really competitive (I still am...but I've been trying to balance kindness & consideration with it so you won't see it come out so much haha). If you had told me to run around the block, I'd be like, "meh" and do it halfheartedly, but if you told me you were going to time it to see who was the fastest, I would be all for it.

To feed that competitive vibe, every morning I tried to challenge myself. Whether it was a No-Complaining day or a see-how-you-can-serve day, I was all about it ;) Then one Saturday morning in 2017, I started praying that God would put it on the hearts of my friends, cousins, and family members a unique challenge I was envisioning for them. I wasn't sure how to share it with them in a way that wouldn't seem judgmental (especially since that wasn't my intent at all).

And so the Lord put it on my heart to write down those first three posts and to share my own testimony and struggles in an effort to encourage others to join me in seeking God. So now, I'm writing a blog to share battles, losses, strengths, and testimonies of mine. It has been such a joy hearing how God has used it to impact your lives and I'm excited to see how God will continue to use it!
