w e l c o m e !

Whatever you may be going through, I want you to know that you are not alone.

Know that God is with you. He feels your pain, He knows your pain, and He's right there with ya. He's got a perfect plan for you, and He loves you. He loved you so much that He sent His only Son to die on a cross for you, so that you can be saved through faith. His love pursues you even to the deepest, darkest corners of the world. No matter what you may do, He will still love you. He will always love you.
I am so thankful for what Jesus has done for me, and I want to give something back. With all of my heart, I pray that you are encouraged, strengthened, and loved on through this blog. I love you all, but never forget that God loves you more.

I am nothing, but God is everything.

Raised in a Christian home, I received Christ at a young age but never truly began living the Christian life until middle school. My prayer for this blog is that God would use me in a way that would ultimately bring glory to Him and Him alone, and that the Holy Spirit would speak to you in ways I can't and bring you closer to Him. This is a place where I share personal stories about myself, struggles that I've gone through, and testimonies about our great God! I pray that it would encourage you in your faith, even if it's just the teensiest eensiest bit ;))

BEHIND THE NAME
Picture
The idea for the blog's name came when I was reading Psalms - about how God's love is so steadfast and so reliable and so passionate for us. No matter what we do, say, or think, He'll always love us, and nothing can stop that. I knew that the culture of this world cries out "Love me, love me" over and over, especially because our natural self craves attention and love and acceptance. But we should instead be saying, "No, still you love me - still God loves me." That is because we know that despite what the world may think of us, God still loves us to infinity. His love is not dependent on us. We cannot earn it; therefore we cannot lose it.

BEHIND THE BLOG
I'm competitive. If you told me to run around the block, I'd be like, "meh" and do it halfheartedly, but if you told me you were going to time it to see who was the fastest, I would be all for it.

To feed that competitive vibe, every morning I tried to challenge myself. Whether it's a No-Complaining day or a see-how-you-can-serve day, I'm all about it ;) Then one Saturday morning in 2017, I started praying that God would put it on the hearts of my friends, cousins, and family members a unique challenge I was envisioning for them. And then I was like, maybe I should tell them those challenges. But then I was like, hmm, I don't want them to think I'm singling them out about their weaknesses. And believe me- I have tons of weaknesses, too.  Also, the reason why I don't have a larger bio is because I believe it's more important to talk about our great God than about little me.

That day, the Lord put it on my heart to write down those first three posts and to share it, somehow. So, now I'm writing a blog to share struggles, strengths, and challenges of mine and I pray that you will be encouraged through it. Please pray that I will only write the things the Holy Spirit wants me to say.

My prayer for each and every one of you, whomever you may be and regardless of your past, is that you would grow closer to our Lord and Savior and that you would love Him with all of your heart, soul and mind.
